I couldn't figure out what to put as to the "Subject" of this Journal Entry.

New Year started out kind of crappy for most of my friends. Many people are suffering money troubles, debt, starting "anew", and finding out being grown up sucks. Those who can head for hills back to their parents are doing so, and those who can't are struggling and in need of money and hugs.

So this is what growing up is all about? Money, disease, marriage, babies, debt, divorce, death, and “loneliness”, all in the same day! I guess you know when you’ve stepped into the realm of being a grown up when every phone call you receive from a friend is about one of the previous said words. Take into consideration that being grown up is different than being an adult ‘cus “adult” is an unavoidable age thing.

When parents said, "When you’re grown up! You'll see!” or “When you're all grown up you'll know why adults such grown up words.” What words? "Work Sucks!" "My boss is a prick." "I think I am a homosexual because I want to sing like Enya!" "Bankruptcy!" "My baby's father is a philandering bunghole." "I am going to use my second amendment." and "The cost of my rent is growing faster than population of roaches under bed!" Phrases, quotes, and words I have heard just since the New Year began three weeks ago. Reality is such a downer!

I shall add my own phrase for the New Year, it isn't much like the grown up words of my friends but I am not too good at the whole grown up thing just yet, and I am not going to rush there just yet! At least the mystery is solved of why my parents look so old. They’re old.

"I lost a slice of cheese in my pants, but it didn't melt in the dryer."

Why do people take me seriously only during neither the randomness of times in which I have no clue nor authority of what I am even talking about? I seriously hope the lives and troubles of my friends get better soon.
